CSK ended their five-match losing streak as they defeated LSG at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow to claim victory and advance into fourth position on the points table while Rishabh Pant’s side remained at the bottom. With this win, MS Dhoni and company advanced up the table while Rishabh Pant remained at the bottom.
First half scoring was relatively subdued but came alive during the powerplay as both teams found their groove scoring freely. Digvesh and Bishnoi’s spin duo caused some slowness but Dhoni scored 26 off 11 balls while Shivam Dube hit an outstanding 62 run knock helped CSK achieve their target in time.
In the final overs of their match against New Zealand, both teams found it challenging to score.
