India National Cricket Team Vs England Cricket Team Match Scorecard

India’s victory against England in the final Test match marked an inflection point for Indian cricket. Vinoo Mankad’s orthodox spin prevented England from scoring big, giving India an opportunity to become a formidable force on the world cricket stage.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill each scored centuries as India pushed home their advantage on an increasingly worn pitch at Dharamsala. In this article, we will discuss the top matches of India National Cricket Team Vs England Cricket Team Match Scorecard.

Day 1

At first, England’s batsmen looked set for success on an eventful day of cricket – with Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett setting an early platform before Ben Stokes produced an aggressive 70 after his knee surgery. But spinners soon took control, with Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel combining for eight wickets between them.

Home side has made an impressive showing, taking a commanding lead with their total of 235/6 and hoping for another strong showing with the ball to chase down 399/6 total in four innings.

England End Play On 316/6 – STUMPS In Hyderabad’s final session of play this series, Joe Root and Ben Foakes bat for the first time together as an opening pair and aim to build an important partnership in order to take it into a third day of cricket.

But their start is less than stellar; Foakes gets some relief against Yadav thanks to a brilliant diving catch by Rahul at first slip.

Ashwin then struck with a googly to catch Foakes napping and send him packing for 35, giving India the initiative.

India requests a review but it’s denied and Foakes walks back out to bat. He’s already ahead of schedule and only requires two more runs to score his 61st Test fifty – but rather than celebrating, Foakes knows he needs to keep hitting hard – now on 88 and making an amazing comeback for England!

Day 2

The Indian Cricket Team is the national cricket team of India and is overseen by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). They play Test matches, one day internationals and twenty20 internationals governed by BCCI, with tremendous fan support around the globe devoted to them as a major powerhouse of global cricket – even participating in all major multi-nation events organized by ICC like Cricket World Cup 2017.

India made an early statement against England as they established a commanding lead on a batsman-friendly pitch at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma each scored centuries, giving India an edge, with Sarfaraz Khan crossing half-centuries as well as debutant Devdutt Padikkal crossing half centuries en route.

England’s batsmen collapsed quickly during the second session as Ravi Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav employed spin tactics. England were reduced to 103 for five at lunch on the third day and need another 156 runs to avoid an innings defeat.

James Anderson once again showcased his outstanding skills, while Gus Atkinson continued his unbeaten run-a-ball 62 to become just two wickets short of becoming only the sixth fastest bowler ever to reach 700 Test wickets. Dhruv Jurel made an impressionful debut and must continue in this vein to help England make an amazing comeback; but Shoaib Bashir proved too formidable and secured yet another wicket to bring an end to England’s innings and set up tomorrow’s finish of this match.

Day 3

After a poor start, India found strength in numbers to dominate the last session of the day. Rohit Sharma fell for an early duck to James Anderson but Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill combined for 155 runs before Shubman Gill was sidelined due to a back spasm.

England’s top order struggled against India’s spinners, yet Joe Root still managed to reach his half century with dogged batting. Crawley contributed 34 runs while Duckett made 41, but Shoaib Bashir kept picking wickets to keep England in trouble.

On the other end, India opener Ravindra Jadeja hit two sixes and four fours off Rehan Ahmed before being caught by Ollie Pope at deep square leg. Later he hit four fours off Tom Hartley to reach three fifties in this series. Debutant Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper-batsman Devdutt Padikkal both also produced big hits against spinners to assist their batsmen.

The pitch is quite green at present but does show signs of something on its surface in terms of turn and bounce. Over time it should dry up considerably to suit bowlers.

After England won the toss and elected to bat first, Kuldeep Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah made early inroads before spinners took control in the afternoon session to bring England up to 103/5 at lunch time.

Day 4

Indian bowlers were dominant during the opening session, while their batsmen took charge during the second. KL Rahul hit several sixes off spinners to help India take an unassailable lead against England. Devdutt Padikkal also enjoyed an impressive debutant performance by scoring half a century.

Ravindra Jadeja delivered the final blow, dismissing Tom Hartley for 56 in the penultimate over of England’s innings, ending any chance for them to make a comeback. Jadeja had already removed Shoaib Bashir and Ben Foakes.

England struggled against India’s pace attack and lost wickets at regular intervals, with Jasprit Bumrah taking three and Kuldeep Yadav two. England captain Ben Stokes was run out for a duck by Jasprit Bumrah.

Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan combined for an excellent stand of 95 runs at sixth wicket. Dhruv Jurel contributed as well before they were dismissed after reaching 192/5.

On February 23rd, India and England will face off again at JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi for their fourth Test match, which will determine who wins the series. Last time around, England came away victorious – winning handily and taking their first series victory under new coach Brendon McCullum.

The match between these two cricketing giants was an exciting contest with key moments for both sides. Both are in top form and will battle hard for pride and to secure their places in history; it should make for an entertaining matchup! Star Sports will provide live coverage, available both through Jio TV and Hotstar platforms.

Day 5

Two titans of world cricket are competing to earn their place in history and pride. Many factors will decide the outcome, including pitch conditions, weather forecast, player form and team strategies.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill hit centuries on day two of the fifth Test match between India and England at HPCA Stadium, Dharamsala. Young players Sarfaraz Khan and Devdutt Padikkal also registered half-centuries to support India’s innings and keep its momentum alive.

England were below par on day four but managed to avoid an innings defeat thanks to Joe Root’s unbeaten half-century. England will hope that Ravi Ashwin and Shoaib Bashir can give India enough trouble against India’s batsmen, spinners, and wicketkeeper.

After England lost three batsmen early, their middle order rallied to take them to 177-4 before succumbing to quick wickets which caused their lower order to disintegrate and cause them to lose the plot in the last session.

Sri Lanka captain Dhananjaya de Silva attempted to put an end to England’s innings by bringing on second spinner Kamindu Mendis. Smith was forced into cover driving him for three and four, an excellent move by him that saw him score 66 off 82 balls with three boundaries and one six.
