Afghanistan vs Bangladesh Scorecard

Afghani batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohamad Nabi led their team to an easy win against Bangladesh in Abu Dhabi after looking impressive early on in their innings. Bangladesh had looked on track, giving the visitors no room for error at first.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Tawhid Hridoy batted superbly to increase the run rate for Bangladesh despite losing three wickets early. Unfortunately, once both batsmen had been dismissed by opponents they couldn’t form partnerships and fell short of what should have been an easy target.

Afghanistan started their chase cautiously but were quickly off the mark when Ibrahim Zadran hit their first boundary of the innings and Rahmanullah Gurbaz hit Taskin Ahmed down for a six. Their start gave their side an excellent headstart against Pakistan’s long bowlers.

Taskin Ahmed to Hashmatullah Shahidi, 1 run – Hashmatullah is faced with a fast ball that hits off stump and makes an aggressive cut that sends it towards third man for one run.

Afghanistan vs Bangladesh ODI Scorecard

Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh with ease, thanks to an outstanding all-round performance at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi. Rashid Khan stood out with three wickets as their star bowler against an under-performing Bangladesh batting attack; taking key scalps such as Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Jaker Ali, and Nurul Hasan at crucial moments to prevent further Bangladeshi innings expansion.

Afghanistan started well, with Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah making a solid start for their side. But once these two batsmen fell, the lower order collapsed dramatically: Ibrahim Zadran was caught at midwicket while Tanzim Hasan got one to rear up and nestle into Saif Hassan’s gloves – both being caught off stump.

Mohammad Nabi then took control of the chase, striking two fours and a six in two overs before being bowled by Taskin Ahmed – though soon joined by Shahidi who took some calculated risks to increase run-rate.

Mehidy and Tawhid Hridoy’s late surge helped push Bangladesh’s score to 221; however, their efforts weren’t enough as they suffered defeat in an ODI series against Afghanistan for which they’ve won 19 previous matches. Bangladesh captain Mujib Naeem blamed difficult pitch conditions as the source of their poor batting display; adding they will regroup for game two on Thursday. Afghanistan vs Bangladesh T20 Scorecard

Afghanistan had difficulty keeping pace with Bangladesh during their low total defence. Mujeeb Ur Rahman and No. 10 Bashir Ahmadzai gave Afghanistan some late hope with late bursts from them both giving a fighting chance; but some dropped catches coupled with Saif Hassan’s impressive innings allowed Bangladesh to win by four wickets in Sharjah.

Bangladesh openers gave their hosts a strong start in their chase of 246 with Emon and Tanzid Hasan each reaching fifty in just eleven overs – reaching 109 for 1 before succumbing to Rashid Khan’s four wicket burst over two overs before Nurul Hasan and Rishad Hossain rallied with eight balls remaining, helping take Bangladesh over the finish line with victory!

After an inauspicious start, Bangladesh batsmen eventually made the Afghan bowlers pay with some powerful runs off Taskin Ahmed’s bowling. His opening pair hit three fours off him before Mohammad Saifuddin edged to slip and Rahmanullah Gurbaz made an amazing catch to end their innings on an impressive note.

Bangladesh didn’t lose their rhythm after that, with Saif Hassan continuing his superb form and hitting seven sixes and two fours including several swings, flicks and sweeps on 38 balls to make his fourth T20I fifty off just 38 deliveries.

Mohammad Nabi finally removed him in the fifteenth over, overturning an earlier lbw decision and dismissing Rashid lbw decision following review. Rashid then struck again in the next over, as Jaker Ali and Tanzim Hasan fell victim to his googly.

But Bangladesh remained resilient, surpassing their target by over 200 runs. Nurul and Rishad combined for a four-wicket stand of 61 to lead their side to victory and tie up the series 3-0. With that event over with, these teams will now meet up again in June for five T20I matches, starting off in Mirpur on June 16th – you can stay up-to-date with cricket news by clicking here!

Afghanistan vs Bangladesh T20I Scorecard

Bangladesh won their opening T20I against Afghanistan by three wickets at Sharjah on Saturday night. Saif Ali led Bangladesh’s innings, hitting seven sixes and two fours on his way to an unbeaten fifty – with several shots including sweeps and flicks being his preferred style – scoring his fourth T20I fifty. Thanks to him, Bangladesh were able to chase down their target with two overs left on the clock, thus sealing victory.

Afghanistan made an encouraging start in their innings but suffered three wickets during the Powerplay. Though Afghanistan struggled to maintain their momentum, Sediqullah Atal and Mujeeb Ur Rahman managed to fight back to give Afghanistan an impressive total score.

Rashid Khan to Sediqullah Atal: Full and on leg, Sediqullah Atal hits it hard towards midwicket for one run.

11.6: Rashid Khan to Najmul Hossain. Short and on middle, Najmul Hossain attempts a flick but misses. The ball continues toward short third where Shoriful Islam easily takes an easy catch.

13.2: Out and Bowled! Mohammad Saifuddin bowls an offspinner off off, shaping away from off stump. Wafiullah Tarakhil swings at it but gets hit in the outside edge; Shoriful Islam easily takes the catch at short third.

14.3: Nasum Ahmed to Mujeeb Ur Rahman – On off, Mujeeb attempts to hit it but top-edges it over his stumps instead – drinks!

15.3: Nasum Ahmed to Mujeeb: They exchange shots quickly and short-on, with Mujeeb attempting a cut but failing to make any contact despite several tries by Nasum Ahmed – then drinking up! DRINKS!

Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan in their second T20I by five wickets to complete a clean sweep and secure both series victory and top spot in T20I rankings. Bangladesh have won their past three T20I matches against Afghanistan with ease, increasing their lead at the top. Bangladesh are heavy favorites to claim victory again against Afghanistan on Tuesday for what would mark their second consecutive title win in this competition.
